AtlasBase, a pioneer in Molecular Computing, today announced the formation of its Advisory Board, bringing together leading genomics pioneers, molecular chemists, computational biologists, and enterprise infrastructure veterans to guide the commercialization of its Molecular Computing platform. As enterprise data demands accelerate and AI workloads strain traditional IT architecture, the board will work alongside AtlasBase leadership to advance platform development, commercial strategy, and the enterprise scaling of its Molecular Compute and Molecular Data Storage technologies in synthetic DNA.
The announcement follows the September 2026 launch of Thalia, AtlasBase’s proprietary DNA synthesis chip that delivers petabyte-scale synthetic DNA creation. With 5.6 billion electrochemical synthesis sites, Thalia represents a 700x scale increase over previously available DNA synthesis chips, overcoming a critical technical barrier to bringing molecular computing to AI scale. The board will work closely with AtlasBase leadership to guide exploration strategy, platform development, and technology scaling as the company advances its molecular compute and enterprise data initiatives.
“Building a commercial molecular platform this ambitious requires deep integration between advanced biotechnology and large-scale data center infrastructure,” said Jeff Treuhaft, CEO of AtlasBase. “Our advisory board brings together the people who invented the technology behind modern DNA sequencing with the leaders who built the enterprise storage and networking infrastructure that runs today’s data centers. That combined expertise is exactly what’s needed to turn Molecular Computing into a commercial reality at AI scale.”
